3 tips on Finding Sneakers Online

The good old days of getting the most sought after pairs in your local retailer is dead and gone. Some get lucky with GR pairs but in the sneaker game, the saying "Lightning don't strike the same place twice" applies. Whether you're looking for heat or a G.R. pair that has sold out on the local retailers, missed out on a release date, or regretted to have slept on a pair that you thought you didn't like for any reason. Have no fear sneakerfam! The great invention called the internet is here to help you add that pair for a personal collection or inventory. But a fair warning is needed cause buying online has as much perks as its disadvantages. This guide on getting your sneakers online will definitely help on that search for the shoes you've always wanted and hopefully lessen the problems that goes with it.

1. Join into a Group/Community on Social Media

This is the easiest way to find that pair you've been looking for to add in your collection. The great thing about it is that you can always post a certain model, size and colorway you are looking for so people can suggest resellers or sites that has it. It also gives you a chance to get prices even lower depending on the condition of the shoes and some groups make it even easier by concentrating on certain brands/model/sizes only type of page.

Very important tip when joining groups/communities is that respect your fellow members and always read the rules and regulations first.
Do your research and don't be afraid to back out of the deal.

One of the disadvantages of buying things online is that you cannot touch or see it personally. The best way to really have a glimpse of the purchase is through pictures. Do also your research to make sure that the pair is legit and worth the money you're spending. If ever you see some irregularities about the pair don't hesitate to say no. You have the cash, you have the control over the transaction.

2. Follow Nike/footlocker/eastbay etc. or favourite resellers page and check feeds

Remember the Red October release? that release taught me a lesson I'll never forget to always check social media. Gamma Blue release had its own mechanics that was available on Nike's facebook page. The Bred One release had its own thing too that was only available online so don't ignore their pages and always check for updates.

3. Patience

When worse comes to worst and you cant find your pair using this techniques or can't find a size for you. Don't go burning your cash right away and settle for a different pair. You have to be patient and give it time. This can also give you more cash to save for a different release or a better pair. The time depends on the pair you are looking for or the price you are after.
